I've played a few on the wall and I think, I've bought a few picks. Seem like good folks.

I've had one instrument in for adjustment/setup at Picker's. It took a little longer than I would have liked but that was mostly due to a new tailpiece being back ordered.

They have got a pretty good mando picker on staff in John Miller...He is pretty smart when it comes to sound setup tone etc...

John Miller is a good friend and a great guy. Good guitar and mandolin player and a great vocalist! Call them and ask for him. Tell him "Big Joe" said hello.

It's the kinda store which you want nearby if you play acoustic music. They have the "parts" you need, good teachers for lessons, mandolins on the wall (old and new), do repair work (or get it done for you), and have been in business for some time now and are not just "business men" but are really into music.
Ditto on John, he did some file work on my A-9 nut that really helped bring out the tone on my mando. He also did a total refret on my guitar and all that is involved with a good set-up. He did a great job, and was pleasure to work with.

thanks guys! Dropped off the lefty MK to get the nut replaced with a true lefty. hopefully this will be the last time I talk of that dang nut...:D
PS: lots of cool stuff in there on consignment, just not for us lefties. Son walked out with an amp for his bass guitar though. http://www.mandolincafe.net/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/mandosmiley.gif
