Nice site! The finish on that F style on the front page looks great http://www.mandolincafe.net/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif

Thats very nice and easy to get around on, Keith...great job! BTW I had a chance to play the one in the tasting at WG and it sounded great. #Im in Boise but if I ever head over your way how about a tour of the shop and letting me pick your brain some. #Im gonna build a flattop mandola here in the very near future and then move on to a carved top A style if all goes well on the first one. Take care, Jeff

I agree, nice site. The dark finish on that one piece sitka top is really sweet looking.
Looks like you're well on your way. Good luck!

Nice, but a little too wide. I get a horizontal scroll-bar when I look at it.
Better if people don't have to drag a page from side-to- side to see it all.
Setting it up as a table is one way to limit the width of the display.

good pics and easy navigation, but agree with jugband...
horizontal width is disconcerting. really like your pieces, nice choices on woods. best of luck.

Maybe I missed it, but I didn't see the F styles in the gallery http://www.mandolincafe.net/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/rock.gif

Great site, Kieth. If you can get the F styles up, it'll be even better. I might humbly suggest that you make the text a different color that would contrast with the background more to make it easier to see. Whenever I learn how to build mandolins and get my own website, you're welcome to tell me what's wrong with it too!
Have a great day!

Keith,
Nice site!
Question: In your "Gallery" section, under "A Styles," the mando in the middle... what's the doohickie attached to the heel, where the neck and body join? Looks like a sort of strap hanger - is that an alternative to the ol' "strap-button-on-the-bottom-side-of-the-heel?"

Yes your right mandodude. It sits pretty flush with the back side and is made of stainless steel. Its pretty small so it doesnt weigh anything. I never liked the strap buttons on the heal thing.
