Adjust bridge for intonation

Is the a way to adjust the bridge forwards and backwards for intonation without loosening the strings? How exact does it really need to be? One guy did show me how to lever up an adjustable bridge to change the up and down. Thinking there might be something similar and clever to do the forward and back.

Sure, no problem. A small ball pein hammer will do the trick. Tap the bridge and it will move fore and aft as necessary. BUT, then, it might well break! ZOr, maybe it will flop over and scar the hell out of the top. This is a move that should NOT BE DONE UNDER TENSION.
