I know this is a mandolin website, but has anyone else noticed that the cd case of brian suttons CD 'bluegrass guitar' has one less song than the actual cd? it's wierd. If anyone knows why this is then please share it.

some artists will put what they call a hidden or bonus track on their CD's. Grisman does it on almost every CD he releases.

Are you positive about that?
The one track (#7) is just the introduction to the next song is that where you were thinking.....
Mine has 13 cuts anyway.

Mine has the fiddle version of the song as done by the old fellow who introduces the song on track 7,
but as I recall, it is maybe a minute or more before it plays after the last listed song on the index.

The always great Tim O'Brien plays the mandolin on Sutton's excellent "Bluegrass Guitar" CD.

The first Bryan Sutton CD "ready to go" is a hot project too. Actually David Harvey does alot of the mandolin work on it, and as usual he smokes it
I found an oddity with a Kruger Bros CD -Travel the Gravel. When you play it on your computer and it shows this list of tunes on it, the names are totally different than what is on the CD and it's case.
When I bought Carolina Scapbook (3 cd -Another Krugers) a few years ago when it first came out, Discs 1 and 2 were the same, even though the print on them was different. I called double-time's (record label) local number which transfered me to Switzerland and I spoke to the nicest gal and they sent a replacement. She really did sound sweet http://www.mandolincafe.net/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif

As Brian T said, its ahidden track. It appears to be the continuation of track 7 so you get Marvin Faulkner playing his original version of High Heel shoe. I guess its cute.
