Just wanted to report on a wonderful concert by Solas in Pastorius Park (Chestnut Hill) in Philadelphia last night. Seamus Eagan played a bit of everything including an electric mando and tenor banjo-- great ensemble work. Much recommended if/when they come to your area...

These guys are my favorites!
I was at a festival in MI last fall and Seamus did a workshop. What a treat to hear him play solo in the pines with about 20 people taking it all in!

Saw 'em years ago in LA on Paddy's day. Really great musicians. Love the fiddle player. She had nice tennis shoes.
