If the picture file (e.g. .jpg) is up to 100K, you can use the file attachment feature ("browse" button that appears at the bottom of the page when you're creating a post). The system is smart enough to see it's a picture and display it that way. I have random failures doing that with Firefox browser, but it works more often than not.

Another way is to post it to Imageshack (http://imageshack.us/) or other free hosting service, and using the "Image" button with the picture's URL. Actually, Imageshack will give you the computerese gobbledigook you need, to copy and paste it into your post. They also have a way you can create clickable thumbnail images. This has the added advantage that it doesn't use disk space in the Cafe's server.

One last thing to mention is, the "imageshack" or other hosted service method is the only way you can put more than one picture in the same post. For example, here is my good mandolin:
