I've had a chance to see and hear Mike play and teach. He can sure play that mandolin! I read his thoughts on his site posted on the front page of the cafe..............................Like I said, he sure plays great mandolin. Nick

Mike might be the most versatile mando monster....he can certainly play any style of music.
Over the years I've noticed he can really raise his personal bar....when playing with other
musicians who inspire him. His duets with Edgar Meyer or Chris Thile for example. I think
his ability to hear and respond to the moment, is also one of his strong points. Gator rocks!
