I want to get a pickguard for my Gibson F-5G - does anyone know where I can get one that has the clamp style mount like the old Style A Gibsons had so I do not have to drill a hole in the side of my mando ? I don't mind drilling a hole in the support under the fret board but wanted to avoid doing so on the side. Thanks for any help.

Two good sources for full vintage-style pickguards are:

Cumberland Acoustic

F5 Journal

Those both require drilling holes though. I have a Gibson F5G as well and I went with the Cumberland abbreviated pickguard...looks sweet and the two support rods go into the side of the fingerboard extension.
