As we celebrate the death of loved ones human or otherwise, we may also bless birth.
Here are a couple glimpses of the new addition to our family for my mandolin family. #We named her Cecilia after my great-aunt Cissy.

Holy Cats! What a cutie! I can't have any felines in my apartment. (I felf guiltly smuggling in hamster when I moved in!) http://www.mandolincafe.net/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif
Please stop. FAS is insidious too.

Tell me about it.......I have a severe case of FAS. Here I am with Barkley (named after a cat, who was named after the Mandolin World News cat) Barkley is a rare black-smoke Maine Coon Cat w/ Champion parents..... His fur starts off white underneath and each hair is about 2/3 black, 1/3 white. Shimmers when he walks. I have 3 other Maine Coons. Innerestin' black man'alin there too.

That's a beautiful cat. The shimmer effect must be wonderful.

What great pictures. I, too, am a sucker for kitties and kitty photos, and agree 100% about FAS! Though I'm partial to mixed breeds, we have one who has some obvious Maine Coon blood, as well as two that have Grey "smoke" type fur (both a longhair and a shorthair)... and two that are part-Siamese (also both a long and a short-hair, who are brother and sister from different litters), and of course a token orange Morris type who acts like he's human. All but the last were rescued from former neighborhoods just one step ahead of the Animal Control officers. Oh, don't get me started! #LOL
That's a nice triple portrait, SternART!
