Mandolin Window Sticker

Does anybody sell F-style mandolin window stickers? Once in a while I see a lame bowlback type on ebay.

I can get ones of these made at a local manufacturer for about $3 a piece. Full color about 6" long and can have a square back ground or oval.
Anybody think its worth getting about 50 of them made up?

The background will be hard. It would be nice to keep the shape of the mando as
the shape of the sticker with a small background. That would involved die-cutting and add to cost, but if there's a mando on it, you will get rid of them all.
If I were to sell them, I'd start with 500

First Quality has, or used to have bumper stickers that had a mandolin on it. I think it said, "It's all in the Music" or something like that. I think they had 3 styles: guitar, mando, and banjo.

..yea..we're talkin in the lines of a decal...I would like to see an F5 done in abstract...also its gotta stick to the inside of your window like the racing stickers...like Earnharts #3..so the elements wont deteriate it...

I once did 3" round stickers with three colors for a social group I am a member of. We did 500 stickers and they cost about eighteen cents a piece. I sold them 10 at a time for thirty cents each, which also covered shipping. (10 fit in an envelope well) I used a print company called discount labels. They do all the label printing for the small print shops like PIP, Speedy etc. If someone wants to come up with a design, I would be happy to let you purchase them using my account. If interested let me know. I think there is a 500 - 1000 piece minimum.

Okay, here's my decal design. The white would be cut out and the black, well... not there haha. Think of the Calvin decals everyone has (only 100 times cooler cause it's a mando haha)

I've got to clear it with the decal guy, not sure on the level of detail he can get, I may need to simply the sting/fret stuff. But we'll see.

I like the inside window sticker/peel off thing too, if there was enough interest I'll look into that next. I have a truck with the back glass tinted, so I want a white decal for the outside, and so... this one comes first http://www.mandolincafe.net/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif

Good looking design. I was thinking about the decals that have Calvin "squirting" on a truck logo. How about the same concept but use a Banjo instead.

If you're going to put this on the inside of a window you'll need to reverse the image so when the sticky side goes on the inside it'll be the appropriate direction when viewed from the outside. Unless you're a lefty and want it backwards (backwards in a good way for you lefties).

Dear NG,

I'm not sure that I am all that interested, but here I am lurking. At our elementary school, we made window stickers that go on the outside of the car. They show the school mascot - a butterfly. We had them made by a supplier of decals for football helmuts. From what I gather, the one on my car will stay there until I remove it. Many others in the area have had similar good luck. (Just for reference, I will have had about 9 years in the school watching my two kids make it through K through 5.)

So for the big question, I have no idea who printed them, but with tinted glass these days, a sticker on the inside of the window may not have the desired effect.

Here's a sticker I have available. From a painting I did, no photoshop involved. It's sticky back, probably better for your case or your bumper than your window. I'll post an ad for it in the classified.
