Cool link, John!
Here (http://web.archive.org/web/*/www.mandolincafe.net) is a link to the Wayback Machine's archives of mandolincafe.net (a.k.a., the discussion boards).
(Now if you'll excuse me, I've got to go get caught up on my reading at Salon.com, thanks to John. http://www.mandolincafe.net/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/tounge.gif )

Way cool - took me back a bit to a time when I first starting playing my $70 Fender A & found the Cafe'... which was probably '99. #Had no idea that the Cafe' was 'born' in just down the road in Lawrence (sort of figured it was a site from southern California or someplace real exotic), & before we met Scott & his fam. #It's fun looking back.
