I haven't seen him post since the bombings and just wondering if he's okay. This is such an interesting place... there's a few people here I feel I kind of "know" and I may well never meet them.

Sorry folks ... just seen this!
Pleased to say that I'm OK. Had a quite a few personal emails from people checking that I wasn't caught up in the horror of a few weeks ago. Including one from Dan Beimborn who now works in London and who also escaped any involvement in the horrific events.
Mind you ... not that any Londoner can be said to have completely escaped. We're all, I'm sure, at least a little more cautious than before.
The reason I've not responded to this message sooner is that I've been on the West Coast of Ireland for a few days. So far-removed from my day-to-day surroundings. Fishing, a few (!) beers of an evening, some great music with good friends. It was a wrench to come back!!
Thanks all for your kind thoughts and I'm sure that they extend not just to me but to all mandolincafe regulars based in London.

Well it's about a year since this thread.
i know the context was the London bombings, but I'd like to pose the question again.
Anyone heard from Aidan Crossey?
I really miss his contributions, and I would very much like to see him here again.

I also hope he is all right. I'd also like to know if that Irish Mandolin Compilation he was working on is ever going to see the light of day!
I've heard recently that Aidan is OK, just very busy with his (relatively) new job. He also has young family.
Other than that ... ?
