How much is a 1927 Gibson A Jr Mandolin in decent condition worht nowadays? It shows considerable wear but is still very playable. The varnish has cracked in some places and there are a few dings and scratches here and there.

Serious, I see them on the Web dealer sites regularly for around $1,200. They don't seem to attract a lot of interest on eBay, frequently going for less than a grand.
I've seen some great deals lately on ebay. 1200 should be tops, if it's rough, but very playable with everything original, pickguard, cloud cover, tuners, it should be a bit less than 1200. That's retail, and FWIW, I think they're worth it. If it's pristene, well, ask away....
