I just want to relate a great customer service story. My wife recently ordered me a copy of "Bridger Waltz" from the Montana Mandolin Society. When it arrived instead of "Bridger Waltz", was the new release "Mosaic". My wife called wondering if they shipped the incorrect disc, or if she had ordered incorrectly. Two days later a copy of "Bridger Waltz" appeared with a nice note apologizing for the mistake and saying to keep the “Mosaic” copy.

Needless to say as a National Service Manager I was impressed. That is excellent customer service! Above and beyond what was expected. As for the discs, each are wonderful in their own right and I would whole heartedly recommend them to anyone looking for a nice collection of mandolin music that’s not jazz, bluegrass, etc. Genuinely unique.

Their T Shirts are awesome too! I got one from my kids in Billings.

I have had the wonderful opportunity to attend a workshop and 2 performances of the Montana Mandolin Society. #If you have a chance to catch their performance, I recommend it highly. #The sound that this group puts together is excellent. The sound of #multiple mandolins, enhanced with violin, bass, dulcimer, cello, and mandola creates a magical sound. # Dennis White leads the audience through the history of how the mandolin evolved during the turn of the century and puts a repertoire of musical selections together which depicts what mandolin groups played back then. #The sound which comes forth from these talented muscians is outstanding. #If you can't make their performance, I recommend their CD's. #They contain a variety of musical tunes, which are very enjoyable arrangements. #Check out their site at http://www.montanamando.com
You will be pleasantly surprised.

I just got the chance to see them myself (too bad they didn't do a workshop http://www.mandolincafe.net/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/sad.gif ), and highly recommend the experience. I hadn't even heard of them when I saw the announcement in the paper, but man, oh man....

I also bought all three of their CDs, though I only got to take two home--they'd sold out every CD they had with them the night before (fortunately, some had been made available, I think by the promoter). They were taking sign-ups for the rest, & promised to send them the next day with no additional shipping charge. I haven't yet checked the PO box, but I'll bet it's waiting for me by now.

Dennis White & Lori Brockway are both really fine folks.

I had the pleasure of working with them and the MMS on "Mosaic" last year (I designed the CD graphics & cover art). What a great piece of music! I read recently that "Mosaic" was up for a folk grammy, it wasn't the final winner but it sure must have been nice for the group to get that far in the competition.

Great Work MMS !!!
