Pegasus

Here are pics of my pegasus case and my brothers.The turqois one is mine and the orange one is my brothers. Since my bro cant come on here and post to to a rediculous misunderstanding, I will take the liberty of posting his. Got any Dukes of hazzard fans here? My brother has wanted a general lee since he was a kid , heres what he can afford. Does anyone else have the same color as mine? Its sorta a old 50's chevy vibe.

That's cool! When I was a kid, I took a Daytona Charger slot car and cut the tail fin and nose scoop off, made a grill out of the tail fin and painted it orange with a Rebel flag and tiny "General Lee" on the roof and the "01" on the side. I put it on my fastest motor/chassis. I could never figure out how to build a jump into the track though. My grandad built hotrods. That was the closest thing I could do.

..How long does it take to get a Pegasus case...??..whats the price on them now?...if you could only have one case would it be a Pegasus or a Calton....Im thinking my new Rose would look nice in a Peg.

Nice photos everyone. I have a bright yellow Peg, I don't have a picture handy just yet though. They are great cases, but not much room inside except for strings and picks. I haven't worked out how to fit my intellitouch tuner in yet. But it's not too much of a problem as I have another case which has loads of storage space that I use for general everyday use. The Peg comes in handy when I need more protection and a much more compact case e.g. at festivals or travelling.

Scotti - they are very expensive, but worth every penny in my opinion. I just didn't trust my other cases at all and needed the peace of mind of a "real" case.

I have a nice Oxford Blue case with County Louth Tartan interior. I can fit strings and my tuner in the compartments. It's a great case.

I can fit a small tuner, a couple sets of strings, picks and a few odds and ends in my Pegasus, as much as fit in my Calton. Great cases.

Scotti, I have met Sam Gifford and will tell you that he is a reputable guy. His cases take time but its worth the wait. As far as room for storage, I suggest the case covers made by Colorado Case Company-they make a form fitting case and will double insulate it and even embroider your initials etc. on it and it comes with a decent pocket. The cases not only look nice, but they travel well on airplanes and fit well on you back given the curved shape on the bottom. All in all, a great case. I have 2 Caltons as well-solid but not nearly as cool or as easy to carry. Rich

Yes, the Tone-Gard fits inside the Peg-no problemo. I stripped a black tone-gard, used Krylon spray and made it gold to go with my blonde Nugget which goes inside the red Peg. I like Sam's solid colors inside. Rich
