Alright, I'm seriously saving up to order a custom Old Wave A2Z but in the meantime how do I get this sound out of my old '24 Gibson snakehead:

"Sounds kinda like cold, wet bacon thrown on hot griddle."

Bussmann Old Wave Classified Ad (http://www.mandolincafe.com/cgi-bin/classifieds/classifieds.cgi?search_and_display_db_button=on&db_id=14084&query=retrieval)

Would a fresh set up with a wolf-gnawed bison femur nut make the difference? I have more of a microwaved sausage sound lately.

Seriously, great ad copy Bill. A nice break from the recent posts!

Cheers, OregonMike

I again am wondering if the cafe could look into a "post hall of fame" section for the board...in which Mr. Bussman would figure heavily, I'm sure!

Did you catch the photo of his upright with difibrillator (for the oldtime fiddlers)!? #Best thing I've seen on this board!

Oops, sorry for the dsylexia, edited the ad to change from griddle to girdle, and I'd be honored to enter the 'pest hall of fame'.... The UW-madison chancellor wasnt kidding when he con-ferd that bs degree all over me.
seriously, Ted Turners Bison ranch next door has 2 types of bison leg: fresh hairy bloody greasy ones just shot in narrow chutes by great white hunters packin weatherby's, and the sun-cured well-gnawed specimens originally tossed into 2 acre holding pens as fresh-culled non-bovine feed for endangered mexican grey wolves. this mando sports the latter.
so who's gotta d2h to trade?

Hey Bill, next time you're over at the neighbors tossing a few back with "The Tedster" maybe you should strike up a partnership with him to start breeding a few of those critters exclusively for mando nuts.
Bone density, color consistency and all that stuff, you know.
Might turn out to be a real sweet deal and the beauty is that you won't need very many of them on the hoof at any given time.
A bit of constructive marketting, (bribe Spruce to not B.S.- meter you) and you'll be off and running.
Golden opportunity!
Don't miss out on this one!http://www.mandolincafe.net/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/tounge.gif

Yeah, I just had to PM Bill and tease him about the freudian slip of changing griddle to girdle!

Ya gotta wonder what kind of sound wet bacon on a girdle would actually make...
