I wanted to share that I'm very excited about my husband FINALLY finishing his movie after 15 years!
There are no mandos in the movie. I had just started playing when we recorded the music. But you can hear some of my guitar playing during one sequence. If you go to www.pluckedmovie.com, click on "Stills and Clips," then scroll down and click on "Bum Trip," you will hear the song.
This is sort of my husband's silly homage to the "Raindrops Keep Falling on My Head" sequence in "Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid." My husband and I co-wrote the song. He created a sound booth in the den by hanging a double
layer of quilts from the ceiling.
There are two guitars and I play the main one. I must admit that any quality that exists in this recording can be attributed to the sound engineer, Miles Baker, not to my playing. It's amazing what I good sound engineer can
do. There's another original song with much better guitar playing at the end of the movie -- some REAL musicians played on that track.
