I just got my Chad Fadley Cedar Weber Yellowstone from Greg Boyd and it a woody monster.I only spent a hour on it and played hard outside. A complete difference to my Prucha F that I really love. #Great construction and #it sounded fantastic out of the Carlton case it came in. I will write more once I get to know it. Greg was right on thr money when he called it an "OX". I was looking for some special when I leave my Prucha F at home and it is, just ask Chad! http://www.mandolincafe.net/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/mandosmiley.gif

Okay a few more hours with and it keeps blowing me away.Man is this thing loud and I mean loud. Also right on with it tone.It will take a few days to know how this cedar top opens but so far it's still a keeper. I was scared of a cedar top but is rings with true Bluegrass roar. I would say it sounds and plays better then the Collings MF and is lot more pretty.

Glad your happy with it. Can you post some pics? I've heard of/about these critters but haven't seen one, not even on the Weber site. We can call it the Bigfoot model.(never a camera around when you see one)

Hope the sound continues to grow for you, enjoy.

Greg Boyd still has the pictures posted on his mandolin page as the "Chad Fadly" Weber Yellowsyone. The one pictured is the same one I bought.
