Well i would like to wish everyone a good, safe, and happy Easter and weekend. I might have a gig tommorow but i will probably go out to eat at some fancy retaraunt instead. Next Sunday relatives from Ohio are here so where gonna have that big Easter feast then.

I am just working up a solo for "Jesus Christ is Risen Today" for church tomorrow. I have a mando lesson this afternoon, a jam after that, then dinner with the in-laws, then dinner with my folks after church tomorrow. Also, this upcoming week is my last week with my company of 8 1/2 years. I am starting a better job with another company next week. Among other things, this new job will give me time to take the "Old-time Ensemble II" class at the Folk School in St. Louis, something I have always wanted to do, but could never do with my travel schedule. So much to be thankful for.

fatt-dad, the church boy, will instead be driving to Florida tomorrow. Alas, Lent is over and I can again have a cigar.

I made Ukrainian Easter eggs for his kids at their Grandma's yesterday. Oh, yeah. I guess I gotta actually go to church tommorow... umm.. the Presbyterian one. Sorry for rambling on. Well its easter morning here in ole Mathews County VA. I decided to skip church this morning. I know i should of went but you know.
Anyway i will be heading out in a little while for some good food and some good times.
