New guy here. Just purchased a new mando (F-9) and have a buzz on the G strings only at 12,13 14th fret. I've raised the bridge a bit (quarter turn from all the way down), but buzz continues.
I don't mind raising it more (though prefer the easier playing at lower setting) on the base side only, but was just wondering-- IS THIS A COMMON PROBLEM, or just my instrument. As a beginner, I never play up there for now--but figure for the money I spent it shouldn't do that.
Further, could it possibly be that the neck needs adjustment?? Thanks for any guidance...
