The "Winterfest " here in our great state of 10,000 taxes ( Minnesota ) head many great mandolins on display for our tasting - let's start with the crown jewels , The Brentrups " that display was enough to raise the dead , the dead mandolin players that is , then a custom Weber Yellowstone (cedar top ) that had beautiful tone , much better than the Yellowstone I used to own also all the Collings had great tone , and the Prucha's were great , and I also left with an a" model Prucha.
That's it in a nutshell...

I own a Prucha F that I bought from Greg Boyd, what a great selection he has.The Prucha A is also a super tone cool mando, congrats. How did compare to the Collings A and the Weber Cedar?

Best,
Rick

I liked the Prucha better than the Collings A , but my favorite was the Cedar top Yellowstone ,but didn't have the green backs.

Did you notice that the most common custom made mandolins and guitars on the stage were LaPlant instruments? I counted 9 mandolins and 5 guitars. I didn't see a Brentrup although I missed a few of the bands on Saturday.
