hey all you bluesmandomen,

been listening to w.hatcher- waitin here for you . from the blues mando cd. so many different chord configurations could work here, and i'm still not great at figuring out structures in other than major keys. it sounds like a7 and e7?? anyone know what the chords would be to play behind this tune?http://www.mandolincafe.net/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/rock.gif

hey ira ,

i played along the CD and i think chords that fit are :

F#7 - C#7 - B7

Keep in mind that there is always a good chance that your playing gear ( CD or cassette player ) may change slightly the pitch ... and also as we have raw downhome blues here it could well be that Willie is even "out of tune" or plays with very worn dead strings etcetc. - it´s da bluzzz .

Let me know if the chords work for you.

Cheers,René
