I was in timewaste mode and came across the case made for the Fender electric mandolins , the 5 string 60 and 8 string 61.
musicians friend , likes to separate cases and instruments and sell them separately.
when I got my 61, the local store had a better price on ordering the case than MF did at the time, so i got mine that way.
Theyre a decent case, neck velcro holddown, and a builtin casecover with outside storage for music pages, etc.
thought i'D fyi the spotting incident.
