Description:	Hello. My name is Scott Carnder and I'm a mandolin instructor living in Cincinnati, Ohio. I'm a conservatory-trained musician with 18 years of live performance and 15 years of private instruction experience. I'm completely comfortable teaching all popular styles of mandolin- bluegrass, folk, jazz, blues, and celtic. I can also provide instruction on music theory, reading, and improvisation. I currently have several openings in my teaching schedule for either one-half ($20) or one-hour lessons ($40). These lessons are taught out of my home studio. In certain cases I am also willing to travel to your home, although my rate will be adjusted based on time and distance of travel. Please note that I am willing to accept students who cannot meet weekly, and I have several bi-weekly and monthly students, so don't let a busy schedule stop you from improving your playing!
