Description:	Snakehead mandolin from 1924, Lloyd Loar period. Serial number 79795. George Gruhn appraised instrument as is at $1,000 based on photos. Appraisal available to serious buyers. Minor repairs are needed- glue has separated the back from the side by tailpiece and a crack is beginning to form on back. Repairman assures me this is common for this age mandolin and easily repaired. Mandolin is with original case. Pick guard also original but has been embellished with engravings and rhinestones as well as DeArnoud pick-up. Email me for additional photos if interested. This was a no frills instrument of it's time but has the same outstanding quality of any Gibson instrument. Shipping fees paid by buyer or I will meet/deliver within 200 miles of Southwest Kansas.
